VIDEOS AND RECORDINGS
In 2012, current "Republican" U.S. Senate candidate Amy Stephens was involved in a primary against Marsha Looper prior to winning her seat in the Colorado House of Representatives. Here is a hilarious video made in connection with that race, which is perhaps even more relevant today.
Tim Knight and Victor Head, leaders of the successful recall movements that ousted Democrat Senators Angela Giron and John Morse, hold a press conference on September 23, 2013. Knight and Head claim that State GOP Chairman Ryan Call actively discouraged and worked against the recall effort in the initial stages. Knight and Head allege that the Party was not in favor of the recalls and even told local county parties to not support the recall efforts. Knight and Head claim a complete disconnect between the State Party and the grassroots and call for new leadership at the top.
RNC Chairman Reince Prebius presides over the 2012 Republican National Convention. You can hear delegates yelling "seat them now" referring to the Maine delegates with opposition attempting to over shout them with chants of "USA". Towards the second half of the video you will see John Boehner ruling that the "ayes" won on a motion to approve the amended RNC rules, when clearly the "nays" were just as loud. The passage of these rules under such questionable procedures and circumstances recently led to several members of the GOP from Maine, including an RNC member to quit the Republican Party.
